The territory of the Montefeltro Rivergaro reserve, in the province of Piacenza, provides the backdrop for one of the most evocative hunting experiences: English-style hunting drives.
Attention, precision, and care in the details are the keys to the success of English-style hunting drives, whose organization begins with meticulous planning months before their flawless execution.
The Piacenza hills, the wide expanses of alfalfa, and the dense oak forests create an ideal habitat for wildlife. Thanks to strategic maize plantations and specially designed crops throughout the reserve, partridges and pheasants find their ecosystem here, immersing themselves in the beauty of nature in all its splendor.
The Drive consists of three hunting sessions, each conducted in a different area of the reserve. The beginning and end of each session are marked by the evocative sound of the horn.
After the conclusion of the second session, a mid-morning break is scheduled at the Club House, featuring a delicious snack for all participants. This moment offers the opportunity to relax, chat, and share impressions of the initial sessions while recharging for the final session of the day.
Throughout the day, participants can admire the work of the retriever dogs used for recovering the downed game.
At the end of the third session, upon returning to the Club House, the downed game will be displayed in a tableau, allowing hunters to appreciate the results of their efforts.
