Before Italian unification in the 19th century, the country was governed by many small principalities. Start the morning with the Truffle hunting where you will have the opportunity to attend a real truffle hunt in the company of expert “Truffle Hunters” and their dogs (Duration: approx. 1h15 min)

After you will take a winery tour, discovering the history and production philosophy. (Duration: approx. 30 min)

Lunch will be served in tasting room, reserved entirely for the group.

The chef will exclusively perform a Cooking Show for guests, preparing the typical Piedmontese dishes paired with the black truffle collected during the hunt.

In conjunction with the dishes will be served historical vintages of Barolo produced by the Saffirio family, taken from the personal reserve of the family. This will allow you to immerse yourself totally in the world and in the history of Barolo discovering the real potential of this wine famous all over the world.

Private visit and tasting at Cantine Contratto wine cellar will follow. The historic cathedral cellars, now designated to become a UNESCO Heritage Site, are a real treasure, and among the finest of their kind. Just before the dinner start, by the Michelin starred La Ciau del Tornavento, you will have exclusive access to the wine cellar and enjoy a private wine tasting with a local expertise explanation.

The Boves Golf Club extends along the riverbed of the Gesso stream that runs along the entire western side of the city of Boves. It was born from a project by the Canadian architect Graham Cooke who designed an 18-hole course mt. 6018 for a PAR of 72 strokes, according to the recognizable style of a great architect designer, respecting nature and all the natural characteristics of the area, which is distinguished by the slight undulations of the ground and the typical river vegetation.
